About Live Wedding Painter
£499 – ARE YOU LOOKING AT THE BEST LIVE WEDDING/EVENT PAINTING PACKAGE – UK WIDE?
Live painting by an exceptional artist is a great way to entertain guests and see the memory of the event unfold on your special day. Not only do you get a keepsake that you can hold onto forever, but it’s an experience for you and your guests to enjoy – seeing a moment captured in real-time on paper. Children are also fascinated by the process. Using my artistic licence, I can also make desirable adjustments. There are not many artists that can paint real time under these conditions to quality standards.
As you will see from my pictures, other listings and Instagram my artistic style is realistic, proportioned, creative, safe and professional. Your event could be a wedding, birthday, anniversary or other gathering.

The ordering process is very simple – here is how it works:
1. Contact me via message to see if your date is available and we can discuss the plans for your event. Please book early as I get booked up quickly for 2024.
2. If content with the arrangements you can make the purchase or 10% deposit to secure the date. The full price will need to be paid 4 weeks before the event.
3. I’ll send you a full client information pack containing FAQs, questionnaire (to get all your contact info, venue info, planner contact, times, dress code etc) and my agreement.
4. Then I’ll handle it from there! I’ll be in contact with your planner, organiser and/or venue manager to agree the logistics of where I’ll be located during the event and when to finish the painting so you stay stress-free when it comes to the date of your event.
_______________________________________________________________________________________* ON YOUR SPECIAL DAY *
- I’ll arrive about 1-2 hours before the start of the event, ceremony or the reception (whichever moment you’d like to be painted) to set up and get started on sketching the background and composition.
- I’ll be taking photos and videos before and throughout the event to make sure I capture everything to reference when sketching and painting. These will be deleted after the event.
- I’ll continue to sketch and paint while the event is occurring at a suitable distance. Your guests can view and interact with me while they enjoy the remainder of the event. My time is around 6 hours but I’m flexible in order to capture the right moment and finish the painting to quality standards!
- At an appropriate point at the event you may want a big reveal to the guests and/or simply take home a completed painting in a frame to cherish forever.

FAQs
1. How much does it costs to hire a live painter?I paint in one size 28.5 x 40.5 cm (A3) for £499 with a clear white boarder around the edge. The size of the painting with frame will be 44 x 54 cm. There may be a moderate additional charge for travel expenses outside Greater London. The price includes a full consultation, professional watercolour painting, frame with mount in a glass display, up to to 8 hours of my time, live painting, some addtional studio time if necessary and travel*. Only a 10% deposit is required to secure the booking.2. Can I chose my scene?Yes, you chose a scene of your choice for the day. Do you want a painting to focus just on the bride and the groom and venue? Or do you want more family members? The first kiss? Or even a member of the family or pet to may have passed away.3. Do you travel?Yes anywhere in the UK. I’m based in South London and may charge a moderate travel fee based on a fuel mileage rate. I will always try to keep costs down and avoid an overnight stay if possible. I don’t believe weddings should be unnecessarily expensive.4. How far ahead can I book?I would suggest to save your date sooner than later. I can hold your date for a period of time at your enquiry until you decide. You only need to provide a 10% deposit to secure your booking5. What deposit do I need to payYou only need to provide a 10% deposit to secure your booking and is refundable up until 3 months before your wedding. The balance is due 4 weeks prior to your wedding. Contact me below if you would like to save your date6. Are you insured?Yes I have full public liability insurance upto £5 million pounds. Your cancellation policy will be detailed in our agreement7. Many living wedding painter use canvas and acrylic painting, why do you paint in watercolour? This is basically down to preference, but watercolours is my preferred medium and expertise because it is renowned for its light, bright, and translucent qualities. It is also the most difficult medium to master. The vibrant but soft nature of watercolours captivates the viewer’s eye in ways that are much different from, let’s say, the thick nature of oil or acrylic paints. It provides a much more natural and accurate depiction of the scene with an artistic feel. I also love the blend between colours and texture when used properly on the finished painting. Finally my paintings are all presented in a glass frame with mount which will compliment any home environment.8. When will I receive my painting?I will aim to present your painting on the day or if necessary additional studio time may be necessary free of charge. The painting will be delivered to you securely using tracked delivery.9. Can my guest watch you paint?Absolutely that’s the point. I make an effort to actively engage your guests. On some occasions guest even contribute their artistic touch to your painting. Don’t fret, though. If they happen to place a colour in an unintended spot, I can lift off the paint or paint over it.10. Does my painting come with a frame?Yes my price includes a black, white, oak or rustic frame with white mount and glass display – not a cheap plastic Perspex display!*within Greater London. Additional travel costs may be applicable and an estimate will be provided before bookingThank you for your interest and feel free to ask me any questions
