About Woburn Abbey Wedding Venues
Woburn Abbey Weddings
Woburn offers three very different and distinct wedding venues that can accommodate parties from just 25 to 250 guests. From the simplest, intimate wedding, to the most elegant and sophisticated reception Woburn Abbey offers the perfect location.
Woburn Abbey has been home to the Dukes of Bedford for nearly 400 years and today is home to the 15th Duke and his family. Set in the 3,000 acre deer park, with nine species of deer roaming free, the estate offers a stunning backdrop for weddings all year round.
At the heart of the Woburn Estate sits The Sculpture Gallery, a majestic and elegant setting for weddings. Originally constructed for the 5th Duke of Bedford as an orangery, but was latterly used to hold his collection of sculptures. The gallery’s interior evokes a sense of tranquility for civil ceremonies, which can be followed by a reception for up to 250 guests. The Sculpture Gallery’s private gardens overlooking the Camellia House Lake, along with the Camellia House in inclement weather, provide a magnificent backdrop for your wedding photography.
Every wedding at Woburn is unique. Each day is bespoke and planned around your wishes, with the support of a dedicated wedding planner. In addition to The Sculpture Gallery, The Woburn Estate has a further two wedding venues licensed for civil wedding ceremonies. From the fun and quirky Safari Lodge at Woburn Safari Park to The Woburn Hotel, for small intimate gatherings, we can provide you with the flexibility and experience to help you plan and organise the day of your dreams.
Woburn is located just one hour from London, Birmingham, Oxford and Cambridge.
