Edenhall Estate offering two unique wedding venues in Cumbria

We are now very proud to offer two different locations to help you celebrate your special day! High Barn and the lawns of Edenhall Estate are unique, English countryside, destination wedding locations, the perfect place to make your wedding standout and truly be yours! High Barn is the perfect setting for a marquee or tipi. The venue has some incredible quirks, mind-blowing views and a sense of something very special. The venue has plenty of room on the lawns both front and back for a tipi or marquee for up to 200 guests. The barn has its own luxury accommodation attached for the happy couple to spend their first married night together. There is access to forested areas to create a beautiful, nature-inspired wedding service, if you so desire. With ample space for camping and a range of boutique self-catering accommodation on the estate for your guests, High Barn is the perfect venue to host a wedding weekend.

Alternatively you might like the lawns of the estate which overlook a beautiful private lake, which hosts a number of elegant swans, and out towards a deer park. The lawns have plenty of space and stunning English garden to give you the elegant English countryside experience you search for. To hold a wedding here you will be required to hire a marquee or tipi – we do work with the best tent companies in the area, these are trusted people we know and they deliver what they promise.

Edenhall Estate has its very own beautiful church, which is perfect for a traditional wedding. St. Cuthbert’s church sits on the edge of the estate, a 500 year old gothic church that is beautiful for photos and creates a very special ceremony. We are also licensed for civil ceremonies and have any number of beautiful spots for a bespoke civil ceremony around both of our venue locations.

From a rustic barn wedding, a marquee overlooking the lake, to a festival tipi and woodland disco – this magical countryside wedding destination can do it all!
