Wedding Photographers
Wedding photography choices
Whilst wedding photographers used to take just traditional wedding photos, there’s a wide range of styles of wedding photography to choose from today. For example, there are still wedding photographers who specialise in the traditional wedding album, which has as its advantages the timeless beauty of the approach and a recognised way of approaching images that everybody can understand and respond to. Then there are wedding photographers who choose the reportage approach – candid emotional photographs that capture the mood of the day, and others who choose contemporary photography – high fashion approaches that create dramatic and unique images.
Which to choose? Well there’s something for everyone – and your budget and your own wedding aesthetic might be the best way to choose your photographers. But it’s always worth looking at the work of wedding photographers who approach weddings very differently, because sometimes that different approach can be just what you want to encapsulate the specialness of your special day.
