Reached along a private driveway and set in acres of tranquil landscaped garden and woodland this luxuriously appointed Country House Hotel and Spa is situated in the very heart of the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. The tranquil and beautifully maintained gardens of Tre-Ysgawen provide the picture perfect backdrop for those memorable wedding photographs. Built in 1882, originally the home of the respected Pritchard-Rayner family, the hotel has a reputation for superb cuisine and fine wine in an atmosphere oozing lavish period charm.

Awarded the prestigious Cheshire Life, North Wales – ‘Food & Wine Award’ 2011, Tre-Ysgawen has built on this reputation to now be considered one of the finest Country House hotels in Wales, awarded the Visit Wales ‘Gold Award’ in 2012 and winner of the ‘Best Hotel’ Anglesey Tourism Award for four years running. Tre-Ysgawen Spa was one of only three finalists for the ‘Hotel Spa of the Year’ Award at the Professional Beauty Awards 2005 and 2009.

The Capel Coch Suite is perfect for the more intimate Ceremony or Reception. In opulent surroundings this room can seat up to 30 guests for a Civil Ceremony or up to 18 for a Wedding Reception. For celebrations of the medium size we offer our Britannia Suite, with a large bay window overlooking the sculpture gardens. Here you and up to 75 guests can be comfortably accommodated for a Civil Ceremony, or 34 guests can be seated for a Wedding Reception. The Conservatory and Anglesey Suites are used for larger Wedding Receptions and Civil Ceremonies with both seating up to 120.

Our outdoor pavilion was the first outdoor venue on Anglesey to be licensed for Civil Ceremonies. It is the ideal setting for couples looking for a luxurious and romantic venue in which to tie the knot and exchange your vows. It licensed between April 1st and September 30th. Up to 120 guests can join you for your ceremony on the lawn.

From ceremonies to lavish wedding breakfasts, relax with a glass of champagne in our stunning sculpture-filled woodland gardens, enjoy a fireworks display on the lawn or dance the night away celebrating with friends. When the bubbles run dry ascend our grand staircases flanked by portraits, chandeliers and antique furniture to rest and retire in our beautifully appointed bridal suite which fuses period aesthetics and styling with modern facilities. Come morning take a fabulous leisurely breakfast, lounge in the library and unwind in the Spa prior to embarking on your honeymoon.
