R and I MacDonald have established themselves as a famed kiltmakers in the central Scotland town of West Calder ,they have been making hand sewn kilts for over 65 years. They also supply full Highland dress and accessories to buy or hire, from their premises at 45 Main st.

Our years of kilt making experience have seen us diversify into Highland dress hire. A popular choice for weddings, we can offer you a range of outfits, such as the Prince Charlie, Argyll style, Crail and some new styles to suit all occasions.

Our Family have been making hand sewn kilts now for 64 years. In the past 25 years we only retail kilts and accessories to the public from our shop. Over the years we have made kilts for many famous people including members of the Royal Family.
