Hatfield Place is an exquisite Georgian country manor house located on the South Western boarder of Hatfield Peverel village. The house offers a perfect location nestled amongst wooded grounds and a delightful walled garden. Set back from the road, the house is approached by a tree lined driveway that leads to a large gravelled sweep to the front of the house

On arrival Hatfield Place offers a warm and friendly welcome to you and your bridal party. Our purposely designed dressing room offers all the facilities for those most important bridal preparations and yet boasts a homely and cosy feel allowing you to relax and enjoy this special and exciting time with family and friends.

In addition to the country house, is the beautiful Walled Garden, landscaped over three tiers and carefully designed to create the perfect balance of the English country garden but with a modern-day twist.  The Ceremony Hall and Orangery both seat from 60 to 200 guests and provide a contemporary light filled space overlooking the picturesque view of the Walled Garden.  This enchanted setting tucked away to ensure complete privacy will provide a truly unique location to hold your wedding and reception. 

The venue is licensed to hold civil ceremonies in a number of beautiful locations including the Walled Garden which is the perfect setting if you are considering an outdoor wedding. If your heart is set on a traditional church service, St. Andrews church and All Saints church are located just a short drive from the grounds.

Our luxury Bridal Coach House together with fourteen beautifully furnished guest rooms are also available offering the ultimate indulgence in overnight stay – the perfect end to such a special day. Local hotels are also situated just a short drive from the venue.

We offer a wide range of menus to choose from so whether you are considering a summer BBQ or a traditional Wedding Breakfast, we can guarantee your chosen menu will be divine.

The venue is located half mile from the village of Hatfield Peverel in Essex with excellent transport links to the A12 and M25, making us within easy reach of Essex, Suffolk Kent, Hertfordshire and London.
