The Ship Inn, Elie


Nestled proudly on the beachfront overlooking the Firth of Forth in the East Neuk of Fife, The Ship Inn has been at the heart of the wonderful coastal village of Elie since 1832.

Aside from the luxurious accommodation, award-winning food and cosy pub interior, the jewel in our crown is the Ship’s Cabin – a boutique venue of choice which offers views and location that you won’t find anywhere else.

Located on the waterfront, The Ship’s Cabin enjoys floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors give you breathtaking views of Elie Bay and the East Neuk coastline beyond – it is the perfect setting and backdrop for your special day.

Our Full Wedding Day package consists of a full day’s hire of The Ship’s Cabin (we can also facilitate the ceremony at the 18th century Lady’s Tower, or on Elie Bay beach, tide and weather dependent), a dedicated wedding co-ordinator to help plan your perfect day, use of the beachfront terrace are for your post-ceremony drinks, and award-winning bespoke catering for up to 36 wedding breakfast guests.
