Lyde Court Wedding Venue
Lyde Court is a romantic barn wedding venue in Herefordshire. With a choice of ceremony locations, you are sure to find the perfect spot to say ‘I do.’ Dating back to the 14th Century, Lyde Court is part of the vast Duchy of Cornwall Estate. Being set in a secluded valley, you would not think that our Hereford wedding venue is only two miles from Hereford City centre.
Most wedding ceremonies receptions take place in the 17th Century Stone Barns, which are situated next to the main house and gardens. There are a number of alternative areas within the Lyde Court grounds to hold your wedding ceremony if you prefer. You have the weatherproof option of getting married inside the barns or outside in the enchanting gardens.
The rustic barns at Lyde Court have undergone minimal changes in 400 years and therefore remain unspoilt and very beautiful. Stone walls, vaulted ceilings, elm beams, and arrow-slit windows create an atmospheric awe-inspiring setting to get married. Add in candles, fairy lights and mismatched vintage furniture, the barn wedding venue becomes the perfect setting for your wedding.
