Welcome to The Ferry House, a charming waterside wedding venue in the heart of Kent, with stunning views of the Swale estuary. Whether you’re dreaming of an intimate ceremony or a grand celebration, our picturesque setting and versatile spaces make the perfect backdrop for your special day.

From April 2026, couples will have the option of our brand-new Spring Barn, offering a stylish, rustic-modern space with an oak Hammerbeam frame and unobstructed views over the estuary. This addition complements our beautiful Hop Barn, with its hop-hung oak beams and cosy, romantic ambiance, as well as our charming Oak Gazebo, perfect for outdoor ceremonies surrounded by nature. We can host up to 350 guests, letting you design a day that truly reflects your style.

At The Ferry House, we believe every meal should be as unforgettable as the day itself. Our plot-to-plate, field-to-fork, and grain-to-glass dining uses the best locally sourced and homegrown ingredients, featuring produce from our 1.5-acre kitchen garden, beef from our family farm, and game from the Harty estate. You can expect a delicious, bespoke menu crafted just for you and your guests.

Planning your dream day is simple with our dedicated weddings team by your side, taking care of every detail to ensure a seamless experience. Plus, you’ll have access to our two lovely readying rooms: the Garden Lodge and Coach Lounge, offering private spaces to prepare before walking down the aisle.

When it’s time to unwind, you and your loved ones can stay right here at The Ferry House, with accommodation for 22+ guests. For larger groups, our charming Mocketts Farm Cottages, just up the road, offer space for 53+ guests, making it easy to keep everyone together for a weekend of celebrations.
