Situated on Stratford Road, on the North Essex/Suffolk border, and overlooking the famous Constable Dedham Vale, the wedding venue is perfect for couples to hire out and hold their small and intimate wedding. This coupled with the stunning lawns and gardens make the perfect backdrop for wedding photographs. There are several choices available for the wedding breakfast from a small and intimate seated meal for up to 32 guests in the light and sophisticated Garden Room, to a bowl food style of food service which involves no formal seating arrangements and is served to your guests over a 2 hour period. This way, it allows you to have all 65 guests with you all day and evening. With a civil ceremony license for a maximum of 50 guests and a total house capacity of 65, couples can invite close friends and family to enjoy their special day.

When hiring the Maison Talbooth, included in the rate is overnight accommodation in all 12 luxury bedrooms accompanied with Full English breakfast the following morning. The venue also has a tennis court as well as an outdoor pool (heated to a sizzling 85° all year round) with pool house, hot tub and log burner for the colder months. The day spa has three treatment rooms and 5 therapists, and offers a wide range of treatments to enable the bride to pamper and relax before the big day. The hotel also lends itself to ‘House Parties’, allowing brides, family and friends to take over the whole hotel for a night or two.
