A wedding venue is a very personal thing – and an unusual and unique wedding venue in a special location can really help you plan the wedding of your dreams. Many rather surprising venues are now licensed to hold wedding ceremonies – in fact, there’s almost nowhere that you can think of that you can’t find an example of to get married in.

So what do we mean by unusual and unique? Well, a couple of antique lovers might get married in an auction house, whilst history buffs might choose a steam railway or a reenactment centre. Then there’s windmills and treehouses, zoos and caves, all kinds of truly exceptional wedding locations that will both astonish and delight the whole wedding party.
